Kingdom Routines

Everyday we have routines that keep us busy in everyday life. We take our kids to school, go to work. Come home, surf the web and watch some television and start the routine again. You may have a different routine but I know you understand what I am talking about. As a Christian I think getting in a routinue sometimes keeps us from doing what God will have us do.

Yes we have to work and yes there are some things that has to get done but we have to leave the door open and allow God to do something, shake some things up a bit. Jesus is a mover and shaker. Jesus is a surfer without the surf board. Jesus thinks and does things out of the box. He could of got in a boat but decided to walk on water. Jesus was dynamic and cool all in one. In today's churches we call people layman if there not educated or ordained for ministry. Layman sounds like a guy messing with horses and hay. Its such a boring word. Layman, Its like your not smart enough. I am a Pastor and I know God so just give the tithes and listen to your shepherd and maybe you will get into heaven.

I believe God is shaking up the church routine. We can make our routines idols in our lives. Jesus was Kingdom minded not trying to get the 1.8 million dollar house with blue shades and a swede couch watching cops on Saturday night eating beef jerky telling his friends bow down and worship me.

No. Jesus was always busy doing Kingdom business. I see Jesus in the bible as doing what had to get done even if no one else wanted to do it. Lets look at two things in the Word of God that can show us the Jesus of the bible not the Jesus some guy with a nice robe and pretty church you feel like your in someones house and you got to take your shoes off and you forgot to where socks. Those smelly feet.

We see here in Matthew chapter 3 verse 17, it says, From that time Jesus began to preach and say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
When Jesus came on the scene He is telling them the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Then in Matthew chapter 6 verse 10 says Your Kindom come. You will be done, on earth as in heaven."
God wants us to experience heaven on earth as we are about His kingdom. We are not to be layman but kingdom agents. A kingdom agent is one that is looking to extend Gods kingdom.
How does someone extend Gods kingdom?

By Telling someone about Jesus and allowing Gods kingdom to touch that persons life. You should be about sharing the Word of God with the unchurched. Go in your neighborhood and tell them about Jesus. This was Jesus routine. He was about extending His Kingdom. After Jesus went to the cross and He resurrection He spent some time teaching before He ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father.

In Acts chapter 1verse 3 says, To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the Kingdom of God."

Jesus was teaching them about His Kingdom. Right before He leaves to go to heaven He is talking to them about the Kingdom. Don't you see thats what its about. Instead of being a church attender be the church to someone else.

Continue to go to church but now, Extend Gods Kingdom by witnessing the cross, burial and resurrection. Tell them about the Kingdom of God. You can flow in that Kingdom. Stop getting caught up in your routine of life and get caught up in the Kingdom of routinue and thats extending Gods Kingdom.

Mentoring, There is a Dream in You!

This year 2008, God has been changing my views concerning ministry. I have been in a transition of change. I have always seen ministry in a set way like a company where this is how it is set up. There is a worship service, announcements, offering time, Preaching and prayer and then we go home to our busy everyday lives. It seems most churches are set up to maintain what they are doing. Also most ministers expect servants. Where people serve there vision and build there platform and it seems good for a season then it plateaus and then people become frustrated and leave the ministry or they stick around yet they are frustrated and not doing the dream in there heart.

A lot of Pastors today have a mentality your serving me. Thats not the right way. Fatherhood is the right way. Producing sons and daughters. Thats real mentoring. Seeing the gift of God in that person and drawing that out and seeing them reach there potential in full form . Thats true mentoring producing sons and daughters and real leadership is to draw the gifts inside other people to see them reach there potential and advance the Kingdom of God.
We are about Kingdom relationships and believe the Kingdom must be advanced and to see souls saved and Jesus on the throne of there heart. Its about Kingdom building. We want your potential fulfilled for that purpose.

We are about biblical values. Letting the Holy Spirit flow where organic relationships can take place. Every person that is reading this in there Born again DNA has a dream in them they want to see take place and they believe God placed that dream in them to make that happen.
Real mentoring is seeing that dream come to pass. My heart is to see the dream in others come to pass. I am planting a church in Charlotte, NC in August of 2008. God has given my wife and I a vision for the church but we believe the every person that comes to the church will add to the vision because of the dream of God in there heart. The dream of God in there heart will not only add to the vision but will advance the Kingdom of God. We are not looking for servants but people that love God and want to glorify God by producing for Him.
We are going to mentor leaders and the saints. We believe true mentoring is not building are own platform to shine but to produce sons and daughters and they become Fathers and Mothers to be apart of advancing the Kingdom of God.

Psalm 145:13 says, Thy Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and thy dominion endures throughout all generations.

Psalm 103:19 says, The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His Kingdom rules over all.

Matthew 6:33 says, Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

Pastor Conference

I recently attended a Pastor Conference in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It was a two day conference and the theme was Control. It was hosted by G.C.I. I really liked the arrangement of the conference because the first day it was more of meet and greet where everyone hung out and talked and got to know everyone. Then in small groups we went out to dinner and talked about everyday life and I really had a great time. The next day was a round table discussion on control. It was awesome because it really showed me in ministry how much we feel we need to be in control. But we need to give up that control and trust the Lord. I was blessed by the conference and got to meet a lot of new people in the Body of Christ. It was a great time and got to meet church planters, Pastors and ministers. There were all very humble and were not titled driven. I look forward to the next conference in May.
Have a great week,
Tommy

Kingdom Building

In the summer of 2006, my wife and I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to plant a church. In August of 2008, we will open the doors to a new, fresh, and vibrant church, along with other families. Prior to moving to North Carolina from New York, the Lord was speaking to us in so many ways. We were hearing the voice of God in our spirits, and in meetings we were getting words prophetically about a shift taking place in our lives. Within two weeks after the Holy Spirit spoke to our hearts, we moved to North Carolina and everything fell into place. Now we are in the process of starting a church. In this season of preparation, we are meeting in our house to build up the leadership.

We believe in growing the Kingdom of God through teams in relationship. We have a few families with us and are looking for others to join us. We want to help people to be empowered in their call. We believe in the power of God and gifts manifesting in the church - but also in the streets.

Our vision is to see the Gospel spread like a wild fire touching peoples lives and breaking the back of religious tradition. We believe it is about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's like an on-the-job training center where we take the power of the Gospel to every house, every street, and every person we come in contact with. Our mission is to plant, build, disiciple, train, and send forth!

If you feel the call of God on your life and want to be a part of a fresh move of God, then contact us. If you know someone that wants Bible training, then tell them about us.It does not matter what point in your life you are at or where you currently live - God's grace is so awesome. All you have to do is link your faith with ours and we will believe God to do the rest.

Ministry teams are equipped and trained through:
  • Bible Lessons
  • Prayer
  • Street Evanglism
  • Cell Groups
  • Ministry Development
  • Leadership Meetings
  • Flowing in the Gifts
  • Releasing the Apostolic Anointing

Remember, God called us to North Carolina from New York. You do not have to be from this area to join us. If you feel called to this ministry and mission - we will help you to find a job and a place to live. Join us as we experience the power of God, the ministry gifts, and a proper balance on biblical teaching. Together we will share the Gospel and see a generation touched for Jesus. Reach out, share your heart, tell us how God is leading you, or ask any questions at tjzukoski@gmail.com.

The Lord is moving, and we must not settle - get stirred up and be sold out for Jesus.
